According to most benchmarks, about 70% of real-world Kubernetes workloads are over-provisioned. This problem has remained a persistent thorn in the side of infrastructure teams, despite an increasing number of tools that can solve the problem with accurate and data-driven recommendations.In this livestream, we’ll cover why Kubernetes wrong-sizing is so pervasive and hard to eliminate. We’ll speak about technical solutions, as well as who should own the problem in most organizations. We’ll use the open source KRR project for live demonstrations and illustrate everything with examples from a live Kubernetes cluster.
